As we close out our two year anniversary (it’s hard to believe it’s only been two years), we have yet another huge announcement: We are launching the Thangs Weekly Creator Contest to show how much we value our creator community!
The Thangs Weekly Creator Contest is officially in beta. We are going to be working out the details of the implementation for the first month, and we very much appreciate your patience.
As we put this program together, we thought: “What makes a great creator contest?” Is it: large prizes, opportunities, simplicity, quick payout, free shipping, contributing to a higher cause? Yes, yes, and YES! So we decided to include all the above! Not only can creators earn huge awards, but they can also earn them quickly! The Thangs Weekly Creator Contest pays out weekly — no accrual of points over months. We even included a philanthropic option in case you’re feeling generous!
Creators can track their progress and rank each week in the newly designed leaderboard, which includes a new point system and a weekly countdown timer. The leaderboard will track all stats in real time!
Participation is simple:
1. Upload your models to Thangs.
2. Immediately earn points!
Each week, Thangs is giving away up to $1,500* to creators! Our top thirty creators (by point totals) will have the opportunity to earn $30*, $70*, and $150* each week. We have put considerable time and effort into ensuring this program:
- Awards creators for their time and commitment to the community.
- Fosters community with friendly competition.
- Accommodates all.
- Offers the opportunity for amazing prizes.
Do you want filament? Resin? Nozzles? Printer accessories? Perhaps a new 3D printer? Well, it’s all possible with the Thangs Weekly Creator Contest!
We have partnered with MatterHackers and 3DJake to offer the absolute best customer service, shipping options (free or subsidized for many), and a wide range of great product choices!! There may be regions in which we don’t currently cover, but we are working hard to get coverage everywhere. Should a winner fall into one of these regions, said winner will have the opportunity to make an impact by donating to several charities.
